@SUPERVlXEN Why do you want to wear them? They are ineffective. Viruses are inevitable.

Why would you want to burn all the masks rather than just mind your own business?

@SUPERVlXEN In the article, Dr. Karla Soares-Weiser says:
What do you think inconclusive means? It means they found no evidence to say that masks, in particular mask mandates, are effective at containing covid. We have had five years to determine how effective masks are, and the evidence suggests they are not. This is something people know through looking at the scientific literature and their experiences. Too many of them were wearing masks and following other advice, yet were still catching covid. Do you want to know something? Viruses are everywhere. You have trillions of viruses inside you now. Sometimes they are viruses that cause colds or a flu, and there is nothing you can do about it. It's natural. They only last for a few days and we almost always survive them.
It would be accurate to say that the review examined whether interventions to promote mask wearing help to slow the spread of respiratory viruses, and that the results were inconclusive.

When will you answer my initial question for you? How about it, why are you avoiding it?

@SW-User Did the article clarify which types of masks produced inconclusive results? What types of masks were they evaluating? N95s, surgical, KN95s, KF95s, cloth..?

The article presents the misinterpretation of a study that people were referencing, and it also provided results from other studies and research.
The article presents the misinterpretation of a study that people were referencing, and it also provided results from other studies and research.
"We already have information from other studies that show almost a dose-response relationship between wearing no mask at all, wearing a cloth mask, wearing a surgical mask and wearing an N95," Justman said. "As you go up the ladder, so to speak, with each step of a better-quality mask, you see more protection."
One example is a study published in February 2022 by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention examining those who said they wore masks all the time in indoor public settings.
Researchers found cloth masks were associated with a 56% decrease in testing positive for COVID-19, surgical masks by 66% and N95/KN95 masks by 83% compared to those who didn't wear masks or face coverings.
