Clothes? Mood….

Do you think the way we dress has an affect on your mood and how you feel?

I have an idea it might but curious to hear others thoughts. For example: when I dress more nice, I feel better about my mood.

I work from home and really don’t dress up, because I am just home, but I am thinking of putting more effort into my appearance perhaps my mood would improve. 🧐

Sure, maybe a bit for me. I know that on the days that I have more energy, I tend to put more effort into my outfit.

Definitely. Comfort is the most important aspect and good looks come right after it. A change is good too. I'm wearing an old dress that looks like from 60s-70s and find it pretty cool tbh. It's just completely different from what I usually wear.

Not directly but indirectly. When we are alone it's not going to matter whether we wear anything or not, as our clothing is for others.

So if they like the way we have dressed they will send positive vibes to us which will boost our mood.

Yes. There are times when I need the added self-confidence and "dignity" that I feel when I wear a dress shirt, French cuffs with gold or silver cufflinks, well tied necktie, dress slacks, jacket, and nicely shined shoes.

I believe it does. Being well dressed can boost your self esteem and confidence.

Sure it does 110%. Not only your mood will improve so will your productivity.

It does. When you put effort to dress up, it changes your mood.
Looking good certainly helps to feel good.
