Are we not civilised enough as a society to judge our politicians on performance rather than looks!?

@AntisocialTroll Well, looks/presentation is a part of what affects the performance.
A lot of people liked Ronald Reagan because of how he looked! The Republicans then didn't care that he went to bed so early that he was awakened when we bombed Libya, for instance. They hid his second term cognitive issues partly because his second wife was a dragon who fiercely controlled access and protected him.

@SomeMichGuy Are you saying you believe Ronald Reagan was somehow a better president because of how he looked!?

@AntisocialTroll It's a sad fact that performance isn't always good enough, you must also look the part. It's the same in politics as in any other industry really. Once you reach the senior levels, appearance is vitally important.
