I think that the clothes people wear are incredibly important

They can honestly affect whether I want to get to know the person or not. What type of appearance/clothing/brand do you look for in a person?

I don’t look at brands lol 😂 that’s ridiculous .

I’m more interested what’s inside them ☺️💖

I worked as a greeter in Walmart and learned something within a couple months. I noticed the pajama wearing or underdressed people walking in and was thinking that they could do better. Early one Sunday morning at about 7:30 a young family walked in, all wearing pajamas and slipper with uncombed hair and blanket fuzz in their hair. I asked the father if I could give their children happy face stickers and I did and he thanked me kindly. They were the friendliest people, not arrogant, and stood a chatted few minutes. They returned a short while later with their breakfast fixins’ and left. Every single time I saw them enter they’d stop to talk, I’d give the kids stickers and he would tell me I was always so kind to them. This type of conversation never happened with the well-healed professionals. They’d either make a snippy remark or turn their head the other way like it offended them when I greeted them. I learned to not take it seriously. I started looking for a smile on their face when I greeted them rather than looking at their clothing choices.

@Strongtea she learned her lesson well. Lucky she didn’t get spit in her food. They’ll do that for repeat offenders who keep returning to the restaurant to continue moaning and complaining after each meal. A young woman about college-aged told me she had worked in a restaurant and a man came in nearly every day and showed his butt after eating. The entire staff got fed up and they each spit a little into his food the next time so that nobody would rat the others out.

@Strongtea I rarely eat in restaurants. But I’m never complaining or rude unless I am so damn fed up like at IHOP that I will never return. Then I’ll speak loud enough for the other customers to hear me before I walk out the door.
I saw you in Walmart wearing pajamas, so, don’t be gettin judgey. 😂

I have a preference for certain clothes I'll be honest, but it doesn't usually affect whether or not I want to get to know a person.

Ah ok, that’s cool!@JimboSaturn

I look for qualities in people.
Too bad people dont come with tag that you can look at before you invest your time in them.

I don’t know anything about brands. I don’t really want to get to know anyone. Getting to know someone just happens because we happen to meet more than once.

When I was younger yes I paid more attention to clothing. But now w I don’t. If something works for me I will wear it.

I’m not into brands so I could care less what brand they are wearing. As long as he’s clean and tidy I’m good.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
I just think that branded clothing looks better, I can tell cheap clothes a mile off and it always looks gross@Jenny1234

Brands aren't such a big deal for me as function, aesthetics and quality. And it depends on the occasion and the setting. I'm not gonna fork out mega bucks for a t-shirt, but if it comes to a suit, I'm not gonna go for something that's nasty.
