Do Guys like when a woman wears high heels, or do women just wish we do?

Honest question. I never understood the point of these types of shoes and finally asking.

I would feel strange in high heels. it wouldn't be me. I'm a Birkenstock girl. That, or bare feet.
@helenS I’m 6’1” barefoot. I already tend to tower. High heels are just too much. If it’s fancy, I stick to flats.

I understand, I crossdress (well if you call it that) and I like and don't like them.

What I mean I like how they look in a picture or on a shelf. But on me, I see nothing but painful hell to find the right size and embarrassing for someone over 6 foot 2
@HumanEarth 3 inch stiletto’s and I’m like 6’4”. I end up looking like a petite female version of the jolly green giant. At least, that’s what I feel like anyways.
@HumanEarth plus I’m such an uncoordinated mess. They said I’d grow into these long legs. Ha. Jokes on them.
HumanEarth · 56-60, F
@DarkHeaven Right, I'm between two sizes 14-15 in women's and need to be in a wide width. Makes it even harder to find.

Besides. I don't even know how to act girly if I really put in the effort to female impersonate.

I would be better off being a woman crossdressing as a man that's crossdressing as woman.

I like having a beard looking like a biker that got his ass kicked in a womans wardrobe closet

Am I making any sence.
@HumanEarth no, but that’s fine. we don’t have to totally understand everything to respect someone’s point of view and I don’t exactly have the life experiences to get the cross dress thing, but I do understand the difficulties that having a body outside of what is conveniently “normal.” My body type makes shopping not much fun at all.

I have read that post. I so wanted to say something at the time, but couldn't.

Now I don't exactly remember what I was going to say.

But I do know this as a guy buying women's clothes to fit a mans body without buying all that stupid crossdressing padding tell try to sell you.

There hip pads, breast forms, butt pads, thigh pads and who knows what else pads.

So me having a athletic build and crossdressing with my natural body. Makes shopping very interesting.

Like I can't buy stuff with zippers up the sides or back, being flat chested (something many woman understand) and having a top be to baggy or droopy.

Here is another thing I want a pair of cute jeans. Everything has a 30 or 32 inseam and I need them 36 inseam.

My torso, forget it. I just stick with guys shirts for 99% of them. Girls stuff is just too short for my long torso. Everything looks like a crop top on me. Beside a like of women's tops just look stupid on me.

So I kinda understand your sizing problems.

@helenS I'm right there with you on Birkenstocks. Except for the worst snows and having to shovel, it's all I wear. I'm sure they look better on you.
@HumanEarth I can relate to some of that. In the body I’m very straight down, long torso’d, and totally uncurvy, so the majority of girls shirt with the cute cuts hang on me not only super baggy but just weird because I don’t have curves where they expect me to have curves, so it comes off just looking like shit.

I’m also a US woman’s size 12 shoe and like 90% or better of all the cute girl’s shoes end at size 11. It’s so hard to find shoes and usually, they aren’t as cute and also end up being way fucking expensive. I like getti my new clothes and shoes but the shipping part is a real hassle and not fun for me at all. Shopping sucks.
HumanEarth · 56-60, F
@DarkHeaven Shoes I found above size 10, but special order, very limited styles, stupid expensive and crappy made.

I been wearing ladys clothing's most of my life and shopping for it by myself since the 1980s. So I have lots of practice and yet I keep shopping and wearing the stuff. Its like I'm stuck on stupid.

Like my bottom size is medium/large (8-10) and and my top half is XL (14-16) these are USA sizes by the way

So things like say I see this really nice jumpsuit. Can't get it, won't right

I'm sure you have the same problem to, I bet
@HumanEarth yup. I detail a lot of it on the thread that I linked. Set items aren’t even worth looking at.
@HumanEarth and as far as the acting girly part. Just be you. That’s what we do. Most of us don’t act all that girly either, and we are girls. lol. Many cross dressers I’ve seen (like drag,) go out of their way to act girly and end up more girly that girls and it just ends up looking like an over exaggerated characterization of what they think a girl should be. Which is totally fine, if that’s what you’re aiming for (no judgement here,) but I think sometimes it’s not and it might be better if they went with a little more authentic. Either way, makes no difference to me and good people are good people regardless of the persona they are displaying. If they are comfortable in their skin, then great… that’s better than I am most days. ✌️

I basically a mans man in women's clothing

What I am is a human being that can be sensitive, alive and i have a genius inside of me. Not only that, but I am one of a kind. There has never been anyone like me before. I see the world in a unique way because I have unique talent. That's the way I come and I don't change for anyone. And it will feel like nothing less and more fulfilling my genius talent and I use them talents for good.

Hey I never heard of that song before..... I like it
@HumanEarth exactly. The reason we have all the gender identities and pronouns is because society and life has forced us to quantify what and who we are, as well as who we sleep with or don’t sleep with as the case may be.

If society didn’t label us we wouldn’t need to either. But that’s just how it is.

@helenS Bunions are the biggest curse to regular heel wearing. Women always get them on both feet

I had one large one removed (not from heels). It was a good year before it felt normal
helenS · 36-40, F
@Slade Yes heels will lead to all sorts of ugly deformities.
Birks for 20 years ==> pretty and healthy feet
Heels for 20 years ==> ugly aching feet
Slade · 56-60, M
@helenS and taste better too!

They cut over an inch from my foot. And on my ass kicking leg
helenS · 36-40, F
@Slade What! You can't even kick ass with bunions on your feet? Not even when it's really necessary?
I can kick ass like there's no tomorrow
