Yay or nay

What's the big deal with people looking down on someone, who wears 2nd hand clothing.
I know thrifting is somewhat cool now days, but it's still got some stigma, the people that are into thrifting and people that are into name brands, designer, Instagram world are too seperate people and when they meet the person with more money looks down on others.

I personally don't care, I love charity shops, they clothed me for almost all my childhood, and most of my adulthood, it's just clothes🤷‍♀️what's important is the quality of those clothes, it's environment friendly to ♻️ it's cost efficient too♻️💰 had people look down on me because I buy 2nd hand shoes aswell, I don't care, at least I live within my means, besides my personal style is easily found in these stores🤷‍♀️
Are you into thrifting, if not why? If yes what's something you wouldn't buy from thrifts?

I grew up getting hand me downs from my cousins and shopping at thrift stores. And even then...not very many pieces because we didn't have money.

still today, a couple times a year, I'll shop at a thrift store for some cute shoes, earrings, or sandals that I wouldn't buy full price for and used clothing. Sometimes you get some nice quality stuff that would cost 50 dollars at the store and you can get it for 5 dollars lightly used.

But I also buy some clothing new, because it makes me happy to have some higher end quality clothing pieces that look great on me. I take really really good care of these. They are treasures as well as clothing to me.
