Wearing a sun dress

I’m certainly not a beautiful woman - I’m skinny and lack the lovely curves some girls have. I have found that by wearing a dress when I go for a walk, lots more people come up and say hello, or just chitchat when we pass. Don’t think it has anything to do with looking at my skinny legs, so what is it? I’m thinking maybe by looking a little more feminine, I pose less if a threat? Does it make me look more submissive or less likely to be a snob? Or is it just disarming to see a girl in a dress. It’s not just guys, but girls too. Makes me feel nice anyway.
I love wearing sun Dresses they make me feel so relaxed and i enjoy it.

I think wearing a sundress expresses a good mood…who’d put on a sundress when they’re depressed? And the style usually has a full skirt which is is breezy and eye-catching.
If you’re as thin as you describe, you probably don’t have the issue of what bra to wear. Strapless bras aren’t always comfortable.
I wear mostly dresses and can corroborate your experiences, people just respond more positively.

There is something about a sundress that makes the wearer feel special and that comes across in their body language!💋❤️

News flash: the majority of guys like skinny.

Look at magazine covers, models, actresses, etc. You'll rarely see a curvy woman unless it's done as a deliberate campaign to encourage body positivity/acceptance.

@DearAmbellina2113 skinny girls look great in sundresses!! I feel bad for the D cup+ girls who have to support their boobs with a strapless bra in order to wear sundresses
That is a fun experiment. I wonder if it would change if the sun dress was very short.
Honestly, it would be refreshing to see a petite woman. Since I've been single I have learned how few women are small.

Wonderful for you others want to stop and chat
Nelisme · 22-25, F
@PTCdresser57 I love chatting with others - that’s the primary reason I’m here

Conversation is always nice Nelisme

we'd have to see a pic, it might even be the way you carry yourself, when wearing a dress

it always says "she put a lil more effort into herself" than a woman wearing frumpy lounge wear out in public...even if she's in a simple sun dress
Nelisme · 22-25, F
@RoxClymer I’m talking about as opposed to shorts and a top. There is certainly a difference.
RoxClymer · 41-45, M
@Nelisme I understand, and like I said it may be the way You feel and carry yourself in a dress vs shorts/pants, I certainly am different in a 3-piece suit vs jeans and a t-shirt
Nelisme · 22-25, F
@RoxClymer I suppose you’re right. I do feel a little different when I wear a dress.

Interesting observation.
I would guess it makes you appear more relaxed, and more approachable.
Nelisme · 22-25, F
@daydeeo yes, possibly :) Too bad it’s been too cold to wear one lately. Come on summer.
daydeeo · 61-69, M
@Nelisme Amen!
Dont down yourself just because you feel like others dont like your features it doesnt mean that someone might not like them
MrGoodbar · 51-55, M
it also could be that you feel better in a dress because know that people will be more open to saying hi
Nelisme · 22-25, F
@MrGoodbar that has been pointed out, and I think it’s possibly true.
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
Sundresses are so attractive and accessible. So feminine
Nelisme · 22-25, F
@Zeusdelight They’re very comfortable as well.
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
@Nelisme That's a bonus. I have never worn one, but given that and the fact that they seem simple to put on, no wonder they are popular:)

Oh the sundress. The female weapon of mass destruction. 😍
Nelisme · 22-25, F
@Deceased Wound rather it me mass seduction :)
Deceased · M
@Nelisme ohhhhh thats a good one. I like how you think.
PinkRose23 · 22-25, F
Id say it depends on the person as there's no one size fits all but wear what you like no matter what.
walabby · M
Nothing wrong with skinny. Curves are over rated. Skinny, I said, not emaciated! :)
Winston335 · 56-60, M
Women in sundresses are just sexy .. to me anyway 😊
Nelisme · 22-25, F
@Winston335 It’s nice to be noticed for any reason.
daydeeo · 61-69, M
@Winston335 Yes, there is that, too 😊
SilkandLace2 · 46-50, M

Nelisme · 22-25, F
@SilkandLace2 I think you’re probably right.

This just taught me to never wear a dress.

I'm glad it makes you feel nice, though.
Jammer6475 · 46-50, M
It's sexy seeing a girl in a dress!!!!!!
Nelisme · 22-25, F
@Jammer6475 well, like I said, I don’t have all the curves some girls have.
Jammer6475 · 46-50, M
@Nelisme sometimes that doesn't matter
What color was your dress?
Nelisme · 22-25, F
@GoingDownSouth Just any dress. I don’t mean one in particular.
Rpfun78 · 61-69, M
Love women in sundresss
Nelisme · 22-25, F
@Rpfun78 I started wearing them over my bathing suit at the beach and found out they’re cool and comfortable. I wear them a lot in summer now.
unusualme · 56-60, M
As Long as you comfortable!
