No, I love to see it because I enjoy being well dressed.

BittersweetPotato · 31-35, F
I don't think it bothers me.. but I generally do not get along well with people who are too much into their looks and clothes.. it is just not my type of people, they tend to be a bit superficial, but I don't want to generalise.
TinyViolins · 31-35, M
I wouldn't say it bothers me so much as I find it amusing. It makes me wonder who they're trying to impress.

I guess you could say it's a confidence boost/esteem thing, and if that floats their boat, so be it. Personally, I can't imagine putting a lot of effort into something that I'm not even going to get to see. Well unless I start cross-examining myself in front of a mirror or camera, but I'm usually not that vain.

When a person dresses for comfort, I can infer pretty reliably that they're comfortable with themselves

@TinyViolins Hmmmm. Some people want to look good to feel good: if they choose to dress up, that gives us all pleasure. It causes no harm.

I always admire people with style. I passed a "woman of a certain age" yesterday on a beautiful day: she was attired in a lilac-patterned ankle-length dress with matching accessories and a wide-brimmed hat.
I stopped her and said: "Excuse me, Ma'am, you look so elegant!". In return I received a beaming smile, and a "Thank you!".
Compliments cost nothing.

Why should it... If that's their choice
Not at all. I’m glad that they’re doing what makes them happy or maybe it’s a coping mechanism that they use and other times it helps remind me to stop being too lazy and pull myself together.
No, I may admire them though.

And has a decent life. Well only in my low moments where I compare myself to others but I know it's not healthy and stupid.
Viper · M
Why would that bother one?

Just that you feel that they had no fault or something?
wackidywack · 22-25
No I admire them. There's something admirable about looking good and healthy often
Honestly, it makes me think they are control freaks who want/need to control their narrative 🤷‍♀️
@bijouxbroussard I guess I know too many men and women - in the corporate world - who are more concerned with how they look not how they think or behave. And, do you know what? It works for them. However, perception is not reality. Most of these people are vile individuals with no moral compass - yet they have the respect of many because they wear Armani suits and drive Mercedes. - They make me nervous.

Other than that ... I have no reason 😆 I do really love to see people's imperfections. My favorite bits about the people I love are their moles, scars and freckles etc. It makes them unique. It makes me feel closer to them because I know the story of how they got that perfect imperfection.
RebelFox · 36-40, F
Kinda. Mostly because i don’t care for people who are always trying to impress others. Just be cozy.
@RebelFox Some people do that strictly for themselves.
RebelFox · 36-40, F
@bijouxbroussard not hating. Sorry
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
I admire it but I don't envy because I know I would never have patience for that. I like my own comfort way too much for caring about my appearance all the time.

No because I'm that person 😌
Riemann · 31-35, M
No ! I admire that.
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@bijouxbroussard me too x
Justenjoyit · 56-60, M
I think what is going on in their head.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
No. Because I dress well myself. 🙂
