I’ve met very interesting people who wear whatever. I’ve met very boring people who go out of their way to dress non-conventionally.

I think… in the end whether someone is multidimensional or not depends on the complexity of who they are and how they live, not so much the costume.

Vans are pretty basic unless you get the ones with crazy patterns/colors. They go with everything, easy to get on and off in a rush, versatile and easy to clean. Also easy to replace because you can just go buy the same exact pair you had before when the old ones wear out

I don't wear the same thing. On occasion I don't even wear shoes from the same pair.

Vans remind me a little of the brand we all wore in middle and high school called Keds. They were plain white canvas tennis shoes. They were also cheap. Talk about basic!
