Showing bra straps ok?

When you’re wearing a skinny-strap sundress or cami, do you always wear a strapless bra? Or is it OK to just wear a regular bra and let the straps show?
This is assuming you’d wear a bra with those styles

I've seen women wearing the "invisible" straps on their bras...they are made of clear vinyl or plastic. If you must, those are acceptable. However, I used to use the paste on nipple covers and no bra at all.
