What era (20th to 21st century) has the strangest fad you’ve seen?

The current one.. The idea of "influencers" as celebrities for doing nothing. Paris Hilton (who?) was big, then replaced by the Kardashian/Jenners.

Eating Tide pods.

@curiosi Say what? What kind of a moron does that?

@curiosi I bet they taste like blue and orange inside.

Almost anything that people wore or did around a disco in the 1970s.
@greenmountaingal It was different...😏
SubstantialKick · 36-40, M
The 1980's with those wacky hairstyles.
@SubstantialKick We took “vertical hair” and “instant helmet” to the next level. 😏

I was not a fan of the whole Grunge (no wash/heroin chic) look.
Drooping pants. I think it is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. If I had a nickel for every time I told my son to pull up his pants when he was a teen...
FORMERLYbatovn · 61-69, M
I vote the quite recent eating tide pods and snorting condom fads!!!
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
quite frankly, I doubt any era in history can match the absurdity of all these retarded "challenges" kids partake in these days... 🤔
Sagging pants, wearing clothes backwards, wearing clothes with seams so they looked inside out. Planking.
