They didn’t forget. It’s just all they know and are so busy working that they forgot to notice the changes that are going on around them. But not all older people feel the need to move along side every change that comes about.

@Spoiledbrat Yeah, that probably has a lot to do with it. Adults don't usually still identify with the trends they participated in while they were young.
