Why are socks sold in packs of 6 PAIRS?

@ZenKitzune Because if you do laundry once a week, that gives you 0.8657142.... pairs of socks per day. Doesn't divide evenly.

@33person you could always go somewhere else to buy socks, not every sock merchant sells in 6's do they?

@ZenKitzune Some sell in 3's, and some in 10's. They don't want to give you exactly 7.
