You might have to have a series of a couple of them- in gradually smaller sizes and differing shapes- if you want to do this with the least potential for problems. The biggest problem of "sudden corsetry" is having the gut- stomach, upper and low intestines, bladder, spleen, liver- all crammed into a space that is too small for comfort and effective processing of food and nutrient in the body. Some women have a rib or two removed from the bottom of the torso to accentuate the smaller waist. Some will use a "gentle" corset for sleeping, and a more strict corset during the day. Ab and lateral rotational exercises, with moderate dieting with higher protein and somewhat reduced carbs, and a gentle to moderate corset would be the safest way to go to achieve a more tapered look. If you proceed, please do so under the care of a medical doctor.

Not permanently. They hold you in so that your waist appears smaller, but short of weight loss, when the corset comes off, everything goes back to the way it was.

If you get a tailored one to fit your body height and shape they can be affective, but not healthy to wear overlong periods of time , but I like the costumes cosy play steampunk look

nooo they just make it really hard to breathe while you wear them. Yea they make it look so but soon as you take it off you go back to normal

they do, but it takes a long time and you're literally just squeezing your body into a different shape

Only when they're on and laced up.

I think it does

I think they just tighten up around your waist to make it look thinner but once you take it off you go back to being pudding

You know that corsets aren’t all that healthy, right? If you want a smaller waist, diet and exercise.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout yeah, I've heard about that, but I'm not planning to do what some crazy chicks I've seen do to get a super thin waist. I just want some waist now that I've lost weight, I want to shape my silhouette
5thApprentice · 31-35, M
Why would you strangle your body like that? Lol
LittleUnicorn · 26-30
@5thApprentice omg I'm not going to strangle my body like that, I just want some waist to help shape my silhouette
