@SomeMichGuy I was about 5km from the weather station at our airport. and I was not out for very long. I was walking around in a parking lot, so a little shelter from wind. but mostly out in the open.
When I worked up North(Arctic Circle) I had insulated coveralls on. we stayed out for a bit, but warmed up frequently.

@shortshortsgirl We were away on a skiing vacation one year. It was Sunday morning at 7:30 Am or so, and I drove to buy a newspaper. I got back to the unit we rented and told my kids they were not to go out until it was at least zero.

well it's always easier if you got a nice, warm home to get back into. otherwise, i am terrified seeing some who are out in it whatever their situation is and w/proper clothing or what they can get to endure.
