If I was wearing on of my kimono's I would want it to be silk- nylon kimono's I do not believe exist as such. (maybe a percentage of the fabric) If I am wear thigh highs or panty hose I want nylon. A silk chemise or dress, even feels good running over nylon clad legs.
Your question is too vague and leave too many intangibles. Too much to assume. And it is being answer by those who I imagine do not wear either unless it is a silk black tie. So I doubt they would know enough to make a comparison.
