Is there someone that could give me advice on making a certain cosplay?

I want to make a cosplay of a certian character, but I need advice on how to make his jacket. The jacket is a relatively simple design, I just don't know what would be the most cost-effective way to make it.

Oh no, it's not it's not that I can't afford to make a quality jacket. It's more that I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars experimenting to figure out how to make the jacket.@MethDozer

I didn't blame anyone for the lose of my legs . Some Chinaman took them in Korea. But I went out and achieved anyway.

@MethDozer Well I just finished working at a haunted house a few days ago and am now looking for employment for the rest of the year. Also, I don't quite know what you mean by, "your not going out looking for a job dressed like that". If you are referring to the jacket that I want to make then I could assure you that it is quite the normal looking jacket.
Also, good job on not giving up. I am sure that because of it there are people that look up to you. Let's both keep working at what we do.

@MethDozer I don't quite get what we are talking about anymore. But, if I had to take a guess on the meaning of your statement it would be that as people we have large ambitions and desires. And sometimes in order for those to be achieved, you might have to do some things that goes against the rules of the world. Sometimes we are successful in those ventures, but also sometimes the rules catch us and we are punished for our actions.
