Guys with beards: What are the advantages of having a full or long neard?

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout no seriously, I have been beardless and bearded, for me I work outside so I think a long beard will help me keep warm in the winter, that is my main reason for growing it. If you dont have a beard or work in the weather, you neednt comment

its itchy its unsightly. its untidy.. and does bugger all for warmth.
