There’s something interesting about the wording. You can’t lose what you never had, but you can feel a deep sort of disappointment when a belief in the potential of someone/something is dying. That grieving process creates a space until we’re able to let go of our hyper-focus on whatever/whoever in order to live out our bigger Dream/core values.
