Why is Rump so STUPID???

I know the guy is an old man.. I know he only hires people dumber than a rock for key positions, people he can tell what to do and they do it without hesitation.. but why is everything he does so utterly stupid?
Watching the news, nearly every day, there is Rump saying the dumbest things, signing the dumbest things into rule, making the dumbest decisions.. Why?

@HoeBag I don't understand why people even listen to him. Everyone knows he lies about virtually everything to suit his agenda, and he talks like a 2 year old, on camera, while he ponders complex matters, and not understanding any of it he just blurts out whatever first comes to mind.

@JamesBugman He doesn't lie about everything; only when he says he will do something good for America.

Stuff that will ultimately harm America or individuals - he does what he said, pretty much to the letter.
