Just always wanted to change that but the white club is always tryna be "on their own" still sometimes, for specific group members 😪

When I was a kid, it was common to refer to Blacks as "Colored People" (Hence the organization whose initials are NAACP.)

Then the cultural mood shifted, and it was pointed out that all people (except albinos) have skin coloration, and that it was arrogant for whites to talk as if some people had color and others did not. So the term "Black" became favored.

Still later on, the term "People of Color" came into popular usage ( not just for Blacks of course, but definitely not for Whites). It seemed to me that we had gone full circle.
