Hagrid (Robbie Coltrane) of Harry Potter fame has passed.

I just saw this, he was 72. You always worry about a man that size and his cardiovascular health. From all accounts he was a very kind and wonderful man.

This made me tear up. Although I wasn't a huge Harry Potter fan, my nieces were and we have watched these movies over and over. Hagrid was one of my favorite characters.

@Fungirlmmm Me too. He was a sweet man even on the screen, I don't think anyone could fake that. I have watched all the Harry Potter movies with my kids as well.
