But I’m not crazy about the feed sw is giving me. I see the same hours-old posts from the same people. But if I look at recent activity I see actual live discussions of topics that aren’t in my feed. I’m sure this topic has been beaten to death but now I am weighing in. Thank you for your time.

The owner(s) of Similar Worlds do what is felt best for the site. The input of the members is taken into consideration to a certain degree as evidenced by the reviving of groups. As far as the feed goes I share your view and the change is part of the reason why I do not visit on a regular basis although to be fair I love my work and it takes up a majority of my time.
