Chances of having a healthy baby after 40

Title says it all what are the chances of having a healthy baby between the ages of 40-43?

Another question though - even if the mom is healthy and the baby turns out healthy, age 40 isn't really the time to be trying to alter one's own life by having another kid. Do you really want to be in your mid 50's trying to deal with some moody, defiant adolescent?

@Punches Exactly. And then a few years later it's spending 401K retirement money on the kid's college, so your own retirement is out of the question.

@graphite What I believe and I think what many folks believe is this -
We spend at least the first half of our lives living for everyone else. At least some of the second half should be spent living for ourselves.
Some people don't want to put their career on hold. I mean to each their own. @Punches

@Spoiledbrat Raising babies is a full-time, overtime job. Tough to juggle it with a full time professional career.
It's tough any way you look at it but yeah we get tired as we age. @graphite
