Update on the boys

So I took both the boys to doctor's appointments today. Our oldest boy needed blood work. He asked if my buddy would come with us. He sat on my lap and held my buddy's hand. Thank goodness they got on the first try and only had to stick him once. It was very scared and shaking and he had tears in his eyes but he did it. The best news at the blood test was that his kidneys are functioning at 100%. Everything else came back good as well. You'll have to get another blood test in 3 months and if that one turns out good we'll start doing it twice a year or as needed.

An extra appointment I took my tiny tornado to a hearing specialist. They did a bunch of tests and determined that he indeed has defect in his left ear. And he has minor to moderate hearing loss. They say there's not much they can do at this time since he is so young, we could get a hearing aid but he seems to be coping well and as he gets older we will just have to see if it gets worse. I love my tiny tornado to death but I'm not spending money on buying him an hearing aid that he will lose before we get home LOL.

So I guess today was a pretty good day.
Pretty good way to start the new year.
