As a father, there is nothing as frustrating as watching your child go through turmoil that you cannot fix.

My son is grown but he’s having a bad year—major traumatic events. His path forward is clear but difficult.

I can relate. The best thing is to just be there for him. Even when it seems like he's not accepting help...he is glad you are there....

I am quite sure that if he is your son, he will navigate the crises and come out stronger for them. Have faith, be there, and trust the man you helped make. :)

We all live our own lives. You can try to help but really it is up to each of us to find the safe path. Hopefully he learns from things happening and can recover alright.

We can guide and support only to an extent rest is their life and they need to learn to live it wisely.
