Biden's son had better be found guilty of something or else.

Or else Jan 6, redux ? I wonder.

Biden’s son is not president, nor does he have aspirations in that direction. Were he not Biden’s son, nobody would care about anything he’s done or is doing.

And none of it will suddenly make Trump innocent of his 34 charges.
Perhaps they’d share a cell. 🤔

When this was posted I logged off then went for a nap. It was a deliberate (childish?!) attempt at chumming the waters (for which I'll be eternally ashamed 😁)

Talk about political charges. Almost NO ONE is tried under these gun charges unless the prosecutors believe they are involved in major crimes. But Biden got charged because of his father. The tax charges are a different deal, though.
@ChipmunkErnie Lying on a 4473, specially concerning drugs, makes prosecutors salivate

@NativePortlander1970 Not according to other prosecutors who have stated on TV that they normally did NOT prosecute unless there were circumstances that made them believe the perp was a threat to the public or themselves. The plea deal would have been more standard, evidently, except that the judge turned it down.

This is a win-win for the dems. On the one hand they can say, see, we even indict Biden's son. But the timing, with appeals if necessary, will stretch out until after the election and Joe will be able to pardon his kid, win or lose the election.
Carla · 61-69, F
@eli1601 biden stated that he would not issue a pardon to his son. I believe he will stand by that.

@eli1601 Kind of like what the Republicans are doing by stretching out all four Trump's trials until after the election. Oh wait... 😂

@SW-Useris it interesting because hunter is such an integral part of our government?
If he is guilty, he should be held accountable. But his accountability should be held to the same standards that others with similar circumstances.
Same with trump.

Yep. This is as "Well Duh!" as it gets.
Americans certainly have no choice in politics. War forever, a dying planet.

The end is fast approaching methinks... all it takes is one unstable, itchy finger to push the button that starts the inevitable conflagration.

Trump's as well? Rudy's? Gen Flynn's? And about a boatload or two others of the same stripe from the party of law and order?

He should be prosecuted if a crime was committed whether or not his father is the President. It doesn’t make anyone less guilty though.

@iamonfire696

Indeed. From top to bottom no one should escape what's coming to them IF they did wrong.

I know - but hypocrisy (especially when blatant) interests me.

@SW-User I agree though, he definitely should be prosecuted no matter who his family is. Just like Trump, he broke the law many times and deserves the same treatment.

Their situations and outcomes have nothing to do with each other.
You know they're going to let him off
