Back when I was going by DarkMagickan, I experienced the same phenomenon. I had no idea there was a Yu-Gi-Oh card called Dark Magician, because I always thought of Yu-Gi-Oh as a cheap rip off of Magic: The Gathering, so it took me by surprise when people kept saying, "Blue Eyes White Dragon! Hurrdurr!"
