Update on my boy.

So i found out Thursday my boys best friend is moving away. Friday was his last day at school. I didn't get to talk to him about it Friday but he told me all about it on Sunday.

I did find out the family is not moving to far away. Just to St Louis. I told him we'd make plans to go visit him as much as we could.

Ever weekend he asked.

I told him that wouldn't be possible but we'd try for one a month.

How about twice a month.

Buddy when you learn to drive you can go as much as you want.

That is v kind of you to do. I have also driven my son to his closest friends homes every alternate weekend after we moved away from the city. It went on for 6 months, until my son realized that his friends have formed new friendships…and it was time he also makes new friends with his schoolmates.

It’s a gradual process and we can only facilitate it…let them understand and decide themselves.

@SW-User its hard for my kids to make friends because of my outbursts. It's not easy talking to parents about them. I know I've cost them alot. So finding parents that are willing to except me and feel safe leaving their kid with me is rare.
