Many people choose to be single because they are fed up with being used, abused, chewed up and spat out. I've chosen to remain single now for 7 yrs.
I have a phrase I can 'UBNA UBNA ' - Used But Not Abused x2 - mirroring some aspects of the MGTOW culture where men are done and walking away from dating, relationships, and especially marriage.
I would prefer to stay single than go into a toxic relationship and risk having my house, my other finances, and everything else I own, taken from me.
To me a relationship is much more than sex. I'm neuro-divergent plus demi- and sapio-sexual, which means forming relationships that are mutually benefical is almost impossible.
I've proven that being not neuro-typical is a 'death sentence' for intimate adult relationships.
