Are you a Single mom with no support?

Now being a Single mom with no friends or family to live with. They know I been in an abusive relationship and still won't help me. How do you survive? I get no child support right now. I filed. I hope he pays.

Don't want to go back to an abuser who took my money, told me to kill myself, threatened me.

I refuse to go back to a Women's shelter or Homeless shelter. It is very dangerous. They have a curfew. No food. I didn't feel loved

I feel you. I was in an abusive relationship for 13 years. Tried to leave many times but always went back because of the issues you are facing now. I have one son. I had no support either. It took me ages to leave because i was so scared. I didnt like the womens refuge either. Why do you say the womens shelter is dangerous?

The first money you get, get away from the city. In Kingston, Massachusetts there is a shelter for parents with children, attached to a food pantry. Each family has their own private room, and access to educational services that will help you to earn great living for your child. You go to the top of the list for shelter if you are homeless and have a child. You also go of the top of the list for state sponsored housing and you should really think about becoming independent.

Most women's shelters are there to help you get out of abusive relationships and get you on the road to being able to take care of yourself. A curfew isn't something you should be complaining about since it's a home for many, not just you. If you are raising a child in a home, you belong in with that child at a reasonable time anyway.

You may have to get a job and see about low income or free child care.
A lot of women work now. Too many men don't pay anything for their children.

@Shakealot If you're in a shelter, you might be able to use the shelter's address. Ask.
