@Raaii If you have fear about the snakes, then you first need to learn more about snakes, what type of snakes are poisonous, about their behavior, about how to react and how to handle a snake if you require it in emergency. Then you can go to some snake farm to learn more about them. That is the right way to face your fear for snake. Directly putting your hand in the snake hole is not about facing your fear, it is foolishness.

My previous home was near farms. In rainy season when first time a snake came to our house, I didn't know much about snakes, in a way I also had fear about snakes, so I ended up killing that one. After that incident, I felt very very bad. I felt I shouldn't have done that but didn't know how to protect myself and my family from the snake. Then I learned more about the snakes, and was able to catch 3 snakes live which I dropped away from our colony.
