Our parents are in effect our first role models so it is simply wise to respect and obey them!

They have experienced enough to make good examples to us, and although we soon make friends, and have teachers to look up to, we really need to remember to keep up looking to our parents as primary examples of how to behave, and how to cope with the trials and tribulations, and the joys, of life.

With reservations, if we did exactly what they did there would be no change and we'd still be huddling in caves of a night ..

@ozgirl512 I think we can be guided by those who've already had experiences, without being enslaved by or to them.

@Persephonee agree totally... Never been a need to reinvent the wheel each generation... But each generation can improve the wheel ...

Waking up to some good comedy, thanks!

role models... some are great examples of what not to do.
I believe we need to make sure what we follow is for bettering ourselves and not just following footsteps that are negative.

My parents are the worst human beings I have ever known. They made my childhood a living hell.

My parents don't do tribulations or Joy or life or parenting.
