I Think Children Should Respect And Obey Parents

Well here in the south you better address adults properly.. That means 'yes sir' 'no sir' 'yes ma'am' 'no ma'am. My parents expect this from me, all the time. I know kids that dont have to but to be honest I am too used to it now :P

And in the South, if they don't it means a sore bottom. The South is one of bastions of a disappearing civilization -- polite disciplined children who grow up to be polite virtuous adults!

@bijouxbroussard: I was born in the middle of the 20th century and I find it difficult sometimes now to actually believe what I know to be true. "The past is a foreign country".
