Breastfeeding after one year?

How many moms out there continued to breastfeed after a year? My twins were born almost a year ago. I never intended to breastfeed for so long but for for a couple of reasons I'm thinking I would like to continue. I've had problems with traditional breastfeeding and have been doing mostly bottle feeding. But as my twins get bigger, I think I will be more successful with regular breastfeeding. I would eventually like that bond. So I'm thinking of continuing. Any pros or cons to this?

You are not making sense, lady. If you have been doing mostly bottle feeding because you had problems, why would you bother with breast-feeding now that your twins are well on the way to eating food like regular people?

@sree251 I've been mostly pumping and bottle feeding. Not formula.

@HeatherFlorida My comment still stands. The twins are old enough to be weaned off breast milk. Continuing breastfeeding is for you, not for them. You ought to be encouraging them to take solid food that they need now for growth.
