Or it could have something to do with the male fertility rate dropping. The Y chromosome has also been deteriorating over tens of thousands of years. You know, science. Not some vague notion of what people find attractive.
And the birth rate should decline. We aren't exactly going extinct. And we are one species out of billions but act like we don't have to share even part of the earth with any of the others.
Also maybe if children became more rare they wouldn't be abused constantly. Instead you can literally make a child by accident. You can't even make a pizza by accident. And that is fucked up and devalues children tbh.
