If both bio parents were adopted, where does one even begin to trace ancestry?

DNA testing can be done nowadays through Ancestry. If it gets a hit, even a remote one, it might be a starting place.

@CaliLuv702: I think its $75 or $100, though they do run sales. Of course no one may hit your DNA, but even if you hit a 3rd or 4th cousin, that is a place to start the the tree.

@CaliLuv702: I found out who my dad was using ancestry and I have helped 2 who were adopted find their biological parents. As long as you get a first or second cousin match ( or closer) it is pretty easy.

@LadyCinnamon: that's really good to hear.

DNA.

that's what i did.. but i was FOSTERED! the evil version of adopted.

@sighmeupforthat: how much have you been able to uncover about yourself so far?

With their biological parents. If that isn't possible is it at least possible to determine a person's general ancestry from their DNA.
