have you had any family members fight in major wars??
my dad was in the gulf war, grandpas were in vietnam, great grandpa and bros in ww2, and great great grandpa and bros in ww1

Yes, both of my grandfathers and one great uncle in World War II and my brother in the Gulf War.
Coincidentally I went on vacation 2 years ago to Dover, UK and I got to stand in the same spot where my grandfather had arrived some 70 odd years prior to fight in the war. He is still alive now at 92 years old and he loved to hear about how we were in the same place at completely different times, fortunately for completely different reasons. 😄
