It's when you post something online and someone insists on hijacking the thread and making it about parenthood and about how noble and commendable they are for being a mother.

@beckychandler: No I think you misread the question too. This isn't about holding mothers in low regard. This is about "mommyjacking" which is commenting on random posts and changing the subject to motherhood, despite the post not being about it. Everything from simple posts like "I got a new pair of shoes today" to serious things like political discussions or even posts about loss of a family member, some people will insist on commenting with something ridiculous that completely changes the subject to focus on them being a mother instead.
