How do I punish my kids

I've tried everything so they can just behave but they won't listen and I've had enough.

@Daniela27: take away electronics, tv privileges, and keep them in their room with nothing at all. No paper, pencil, crayons. Have them sit on the bed and stay there for a couple of days. Allow them out to eat only. Then back to their room. You'll see a change in a week.

@EyeDontGiveAHoot: they don't even listen when I tell them to go to their room I guess they see me as a joke
