My son is driving me nuts!!!

I keep getting complaints about him at his daycare he used to be a good boy but now he says he wants to be bad, I told him he had to be good and listen to his teachers or else I will take his TV away but that didn't work, sometimes he cries for many hours to manipulate us into doing what he wants, he says I will do whatever I want, he hits us he is rude he breaks my stuff, I don't wear jewellery anymore because he broke all my necklaces and bracelets some were gold and too expensive to fix, when I tell my friends about him they say we are glad we're childless 😭,,, some days he is much better and good and some days he will just be bad, his teachers says that at his age kids have phases and I think it's true, he is only three years old but I am worried if he continues this behaviour he might end up in jail or something.
