What's a name you would NEVER give to your child?

I don't know the origin of Gavin, but Joseph is an old Hebrew name along with many others in common use in English-speaking countries for centuries, so what is the problem with them?

I first encountered the name as Gavin Maxwell, the Scots naturalist and author.
