By blocking app installs in the Play store you'll effectively disable their ability to run out and install "Snapchat" , facebook, instragram, etc.
You could also remove the browser entirely after restricting applications so now they can't browse the web with it either.
Effectively locking it down so they can't access Social media, only use it for music.
