i LOVE being undermined 🥲 (i said sarcastically)

my mom is a “cool & fun” grandma but grandparents are supposed to be right? ok ok but what happens when we literally LIVE with her & my kid needs to be put in timeout? she babies her- loudly makes it clear to kinsley and everyone in the room, “kinsley’s just a baby, don’t make her cry, give me lovings kinsley” 🙂 EVERY TIME i try to put my kid in timeout, i get backlash for it, in front of my child, so my child fr prefers my mother 98% of the time. and it’s annoying. i love that my mom loves her so much, takes care of her while i’m at work etc, but children need disciplined. i’m not tryna raise a spoiled brat.
my mom had no problem whooping my ass but won’t even put her grandchild in timeout? make it make sense
