y’all: “Contractions don’t hurt that bad.”

It’s definitely not fun.. I’ve had 5 kids Only had an epidural with my first and it was a horrible experience. Completely unmedicated hospital births for babies 2,3 and 4 and number 5 was a at home unmedicated waterbirth hypnobirthing and my labor comb was my friend

I was spared seeing that during her first birthing experience. I was in the room with her for the next one, and I felt so helpless, not being able to help her. Yes, she looked a lot like that.

I’ve broken bones and had some pretty icky injuries…. None of them came anywhere near the pain of back labor while on pitocin and pushing a baby out “sunny side-up”

But a girl i know who had three or four kids said that toothaches were worse?

Who in the world would say that ? 😳
