Is it just me?

Is anyone else experiencing frustration with their children's behavior during the summer and looking forward to them going back to school? I feel like a terrible mom for even feeling that way. Maybe it's because this year I have the ability to work from home, and just happen to be around more, but I truly look forward to the 28th!

That's normal. But as the parent, you do have the job of teaching them not to act in ways that are annoying to others. That's an important lesson that fewer and fewer kids are being taught.

@DearAmbellina2113 because they are taught to report anyone that disciplines them . Catch 22

@DearAmbellina2113 I know, and I try my best. I consistently get compliments on how well they behave everywhere else, it just seems to be me that they act this way around.

@SW-User you can discipline in non-physical ways.

@SW-User I'm struggling to see where you mentioned anything about disciplining in physical ways. I must have missed something.
