Life with a 7yo….

My husband had to break the door of our bathroom down because our 7yo locked herself in there so she didn’t have to get out the bath and go to bed. She ignored us yelling for her to open it and when we got in there she was laying in the bath with her ears under water and looked like butter wouldn’t melt

Like kid do you really think this is going to go well for you?!? lol We don’t really believe that you don’t hear us yelling at all because your ears are in the water

Crazy what kids do to get 5 more minutes in a cold, gross bath she’d been sat in for almost 40 minutes already

That's why we changed the locks of our rooms so that they can all be opened from the outside if necessary

@BridgeOvertroubledWaters We will put one like that on the new door. No other doors have locks so we should be good then until the kids come up with something else we havent thought to safeguard against lol
