Met this lady today

She was telling me she feels like a terrible mom because she works full time & when she gets home she just wants to rest & feels too tired for her kids 馃ズ

She's single so her mom keeps the kids while she's at work.
She said how the kids do all this fun stuff with their grandma & she's grateful for that but she just wishes she could do more with them too.

Even on her few days off, she accidentally rests too much or will feel lazy, so she worries she's not a good mom or that her kids would rather be with their grandma.

If you ask me, the way she felt about it & everything she said, told me she's a great mom 馃枻
I've heard a lot of mom's put themselves down at times for not being enough & that ALWAYS makes me realize what a great mom they are.
If you weren't a great mom, you wouldn't worry about that stuff. The reason it hurts you so much is because you care so much. You want the best for them & you're working your ass off to do more than you're capable of.. & in the end you'll succeed. Because mom's like that always do when they want it that bad 馃檹

Idk... I can't help but always think "damn I wish I had a mom like you". Mine walked away when I was too young to understand any of that. So I respect TF out of a trying mother 鉂わ笍 You can't give them the whole world, but YOU'RE enough

I agree she is a mom doing her best. Society's expectations on women are completely unrealistic.

@JimboSaturn exactly. She's being a mom & still working full time. That's already amazing by itself
