The scent of Baby feet 🥴🥴🥴🥴

*takes a deep whiff of my baby’s feet*

*feels the dopamine surging through my body*

Gotta soak it all in, because one day will be the last day that his tiny toes will smell like baby feet, one day they’ll smell like Toddler TJ and I won’t even realize that the last time was the last time I got a whiff of baby feet. And let’s face it, it’s not Ok to sniff the feet of babies that aren’t yours lol 😂

So for now, I’m gonna enjoy this 🥰

*takes another hit*

This has never happened for me with any of my kids when they were babies. Maybe it's a mum thing that dad's don't get? Like a Zona thing? I don't have any strong pheremone type responses so I don't think my body is big on dopamine or oxytocin.

@zonavar68 that’s odd. Idk, I’ll ask my husband. I know my brother used to like the smell of his baby’s feet (when they were babies)
And my husband will smell our babies feet during play and tickle him and tell him “eww stinky feet” so I just assumed he felt the same way but idk now. I’m gonna ask lol 😅

For me it’s freshly washed hair. I could bury my nose in my daughters hair for hours after a bath.

@WanderlustCat yess I love that too.

I’ve had a nightly bath as part of my kids bed time routine since the moment their umbilical cords fell. My favorite part of the night, after their night feeding was curling up next to them and being able to smell their hair and baby smell while they fell asleep.
My husband always had to transfer the babies to their cribs because I would, if I had it my way, stay up all night caressing their hair and smelling their hair or toes 😅
Even washed toes still smelled like baby cheesy toes lol 😂
I know this baby stage doesn’t last, I’ve been so aware of that since I had my first at 18, I will soak up every second I can get ❤️❤️❤️
