Yeah I was terrified. I was 'seeing' things in the dark.
I had to sleep with the lights on for a very long time when I was sleeping alone.
I think I suddenly stopped being scared in my early 30s.

@SW-User my daughter makes shapes out of objects in her room…they become creepy .
